We have been learning about persuasive writing. We had to brainstorm arguments that suited the topic of whether phones should or should not be at school.

I created this by  choosing my three arguments from my brainstorm. I had to include an introduction, 3 arguments and a conclusion.

I am proud of myself  because I spelt every thing right.

Something I  found quite challenging was my introduction because I didn’t understand that I had to put my 3 arguments in my introduction.

Next time I will try do it without any help.

We have been learning about doing division on Google slides.

I created this by finishing the practice then the division on the Google slides.

I am proud of myself  because I done my best and got it finished pretty fast.

something I found quite challenging  was  at the start I was  confused but then I got the hang of it.

Next time I will get the hang of it at the very start.

We have been reading the book baa mite and learning about the  book.

I am proud of my work because when we done the role play I did a voice that would match the person that I was acting as.

Something I found quite challenging  was choosing which person I wanted to  act as.

We have been learning about an acrostic poem.

This is my acrostic poem.

I created this by researching facts about a Dolphin.

I am proud of myself  because  I found some interesting facts about my animal that I did.

Something I found quite challenging was  trying to figure out  the word to start with the letter.

Next time I will be better at finding the words starting with that letter.

My tips about this  is  when you search up whatever your doing is to choose one for your level.

Dolphins dive under and jump up. In the air  15 to 30 feet.                                     

Oceans are so big. they’re bigger than you think they are.

Leading the pack of dolphins  like a true leader.’’

Perfect for jumping high in the Olympics.

Helping other dolphins if they are needed for help.

 Incredible at jumping really high and swimming  up and down.

Not for catching  that most people know of.

We have been learning to use colours to represent the four seasons tree painting.

This is my tree painting that I have done for my work

I created this by using a pencil and paint and the other stuff we needed to paint or draw the tree’s and blossom that creates fine dots.

I am proud of myself because I finished before the end of the week and It  turned out pretty good.

Something I found quite challenging was to do the tree and stay in the lines of my work.

Next time I will  do better than I did before because, before I couldn’t paint that good but now I know how to paint thin lines.

My tips about this mahi is to use the tip of your paint brush when your painting the tree because if you use the full bottom of the brush it will be messy.

We have been learning to type with our home keys on our chrome books so we  can learn not to look at the keys whille were not looking.

I created this by  creating a Google doc and practicing  day after day to get better.

I am proud of myself because most of the time  I use my home keys.

something I found quite challenging was trying not to look at my home keys.

Next time I will try both to look at my home keys.

my tips about this is to it’s alright  if you mess up.

We have been learning about short division.

I created this by using my addition strategies, times tables, and also division.

I am proud of myself because I did my best at dividing five digit numbers, and because I was able to manaaki some of my classmates with their work.

Something I found quite challenging was dividing the five digit numbers.

Next time I will be able to divide five digit numbers with more confidence and hopefully without doing a mistake.

My tips are to not give up and don’t be scared to ask someone for help.

We have been writing a story in a Google Docs.

I created this story by reading the book Tree Talk and listening.

I am proud of myself because I didn’t  mess around or talk to the person next to me.

Something I found quite challenging was to remember to put capital letters after a full stop.

Next time I will make sure that I use capital letters after my full stops.

My tips about writing a story like this is to make sure you take your time, unless a teacher asks you to go a bit faster.

I am proud of myself because I did not go fast and I took my time.
